CE2WZ, David, dropped in an early note to say
“Not much on 10 metres this week. 15 much better.” But he did work SV1JGX 16 April and PU2KOB 13 April.

But by Monday things had livened up. He worked W4JS 5/5, AF6EH 5/1, KJ4KEK 5/1, WA6APQ 5/7, KD4ESV 5/5, KI4TZU 5/1, KK5TC 5/1, HK3/IZ0GYP 5/5, N5XZ 5/9, KN4SA 5/5, AA5EY 5/5, WA5UA 5/5, W4KPG 5/5 and his comments were much happier. “Good run into US tonight 2 hours after sunset. Best wishes - website now OK for me.”

Good, I did report the problems to the Editor who did know about it but is unable to replicate the problem to find a cause and solution. But at least you know the words are getting through.

Sun: A sustained period of low activity. Scientists are now saying that the sun is at its quietist and lowest luminosity for perhaps 100 years. And I was going to invest in a monoband beam for 10m! Maybe I’ll wait a while.

Earth is passing through a trail of debris from Comet Thatcher. This produces the Lyrids meteor shower, and is expected to give 10 to 20 meteors per hour over the northern hemisphere on Wednesday, April 22nd. Hopefully some of you will read this in time to check it out. The best time to look is during the dark hours before dawn
