Tony's 10 Metre Band Report

Paul, K6FRC, has been listening and strayed into the CB band.
“I have heard a LOT of Spanish speaking DX on and around the 11m band, but despite this, 10m beacons and traffic is nonexistent.”
I haven’t listened on the CB bands for ages so I don’t know if its also dead in the UK.

Sun: Blank (Why do I bother?)
A solar wind stream hit Earth on Valentine's Day, starting Northern Lights around the Arctic Circle. Another solar wind stream is en route. High latitude sky watchers should be alert for more auroras when it arrives on Feb. 19th or 20th.

Well the Potters (Stoke City) are 4th from the bottom and need a win this weekend against Portsmouth. I will be there.

James, the eldest of my kids, recently got his Australian citizenship. Here he is with his certificate.

And it just so happens that I have two tickets for the first day of the Ashes Test match at Lord’s and two for the last day.

I reckon James and his girlfriend will be visiting the UK this summer!!
