Well not as good as last week and Friday was a bit thin but the DX was about. Again not much for the UK to shout about.
LZ17EXPO is being activated by a group of members of the Bulgarian Federation of Radio Amateurs on all bands and modes between 7 and 30 June 2008 to commemorate 17th edition of HOBBY RADIO EXPO – Kazanlak which will be held at Culture House ARSENAL, Kazanlak, June 14-15, 2008. And they came out top on Thursday. 3A2MG (Monaco) and TC0W (Kefken Island AS-159) were understandably popular.
HB10DX (what a great call for Ten Metres) is a special callsign celebrating 10 years of Swiss DX Foundation (SDXF) from January 1 until December 31, 2008. Get a SDXF Jubilee pocketknife by working HB10DX ten times according to www.sdxf.ch/HB10DX.htm

Dave, 2E0BHQ also worked a few, on Wednesday. EC1KR 5/9 28.850MHz 09.57UTC, M0PRO 5/6 28.4760MHZ 11.09UTC, CT1HMN 5/7 28.4875MHz 14.56UTC.
Contests: The Portugal Day contest all of Saturday. And the Spanish Islands contest 06:00 to 12:00 Sunday. (They have quite a few islands so could be interesting.)
Sun: Almost zilch again with the sun. Spot 998 is not much but it is a good photo opportunity.
We kinda done good in the cricket but NZ fell apart like we usually do. Excellent display of swing bowling from Anderson, Sidebottom and Broad. Panasar hardly had the ball in his hands.
Almost time for the Premier League fixtures to be published. Who will The Mighty Potters (Stoke City) play first?
