Tony's 10 Metre Band Report
10 September, 2009

Weekend syndrome strikes again, Saturday and Sunday were better than the rest of the week put together (though hardly great even then).

A few /P stations for the Region 1 SSB Field Day but sparse considering that this is usually a well attended contest. Greece seems to have made a concerted effort on the Sunday with SZ3P/P, plus others, being top teams.

Sun: Put bluntly, it’s blank. Nothing much seems to be happening out there.

Stoke play Chelsea this Saturday so it will be a tough test for them (Chelsea that is) after all this week’s turmoil. Tuncay scored two for Turkey against Estonia last weekend so he’s due a hat trick for Stoke!

The ODIs (cricket) have gone to plan for England, that is we have lost the first two. There are seven to lose, will we manage it? England’s batting is so poor for this type of cricket.
