The 144 MHz EME NewsLetter:
Since 2003 DF2ZC publishes the 144 MHz EME NewsLetter. This is a free

Meteor Scatter: November 2009. Leonids Outburst expected!!!
Like in 2008, another Leonids Outburst is expected in 2009! The
maximum is predicted to occur on November 17th, with an Outburst around
21-22 UT (ZHR up to 200 hr-1 or even more). Unfortunately, the Leonids
radiant elevation will be very low over Europe during predicted time of
maximum, thus leading to poor perceived meteor rates. But after radiant
rise, meteor flux should still be remarkable, thus providing good rocks
also for european MS enthusiasts. Read more about Leonids and other
meteor showers in November 2009 at our MS-Page: www.mmmonvhf.de/ms.php .
As well a review about the ORIONIDS 2009 is given there. [MMMonVHF]
*** G0HGA VHF/UHF CW Activity 2010 ***
Angie, G0HGA FISTS # 41 became Silent Key earlier this year. In her
memory there is a One year activity designed to promote CW activity on
the VHF / UHF Frequencies. Angie was a staunch advocate of CW on these
frequencies and it is felt the activity is a fitting tribute to her.
Please do welcome the details from Rob, M0BPT at: www.mmmonvhf.de/latest.php?id=2962 [MMMonVHF]
