Bath Amateur Radio training features in newspaper

The forthcoming Bath Foundation course run by Steve Hartley, editor of the Intermediate Manual, has featured in an article in the Bath Chronicle newspaper.

The Bath Chronicle article can be seen at http://tinyurl.com/63avza

The radio classes in Bath serve a wide area and past students have attended from Cirencester to the north, Weston-Super-Mare and the Forest of Dean to the west and Taunton in the south, there are several other trainers to the east, but Melksham and Swindon have also provided students before now.

This year's classes will be held at Oldfield School in Bath on Thursday evenings stating at 19:00 on the 4th September.

This year, Lewis Thomas, G4YTN, joins Steve Hartley, G0FUW and Mike Coombs, G3VTO, on the tutoring team.
A number of past students will also be helping out with the practical assessments.

There are still places available on the Foundation course for those just starting out. Intermediate level classes will follow and an Advanced course will follow in the New Year.

The classes are kindly sponsored by the RSGB Bristol Group and costs are kept to a minimum.

Full details can be had from Steve on 01225 464394 (evenings before 21:00 and weekends only please) or via
