Intel demonstrates wireless power

CNN reports on the demonstration by Intel of Wireless power but what will be the cost of this technology to the High Frequency (HF) spectrum which is a precious natural resource ?

On Thursday the chip maker demonstrated a wireless power broadcast that lit up a 60 watt bulb over a distance of two to three feet. Intel claims it loses only 25 percent of the power in transmission.

The big concern with systems like this is the Radio Interference that could result. An earlier system developed by Marin Soljacic used a 6.4 MHz HF frequency.
It's bandwidth is not known.
