Magalies Amateur Radio Club to hold AR Open DayOne and all are invited to MRK's radio amateur open day which will include a flea market on Saturday 27 January 2007 at their clubhouse on the corner of Breyer en Mills streets, Waverley, Pretoria. Directions for visitors to the clubhouse will be via the 145,750 repeater. Activities will commence at 09:00. The cost per table, whether rented or provided by you, will be R20. The same cost will apply to car boot sales. Contact Nico, ZR6AFJ, should you wish to reserve a table. There will be ample refreshments, new and second hand equipment as well as accessories will be available which should satisfy many needs. Chris, ZS6FCS, will give a demonstration on the working of Echolink as well as how to use your computer for recording and playing back audio files from your computer to your radio. Interesting videos will also be shown which cover many aspects of our hobby. The day will also focus on prospective young radio amateurs, please invite them to join us in a day of fun and excitement.
